In this workshop, Gail Guttman, LCSW offers an opportunity to practice and evaluate different approaches of conducting a couples’ sex therapy evaluation. In order to guide the goals of an assessment, we start with an overview of the components couples’ sex therapy. Next, we explore the workshop participants’ feelings and thoughts about evaluating couples through both individual and couple’s sessions. Knowledge of important couples and sex therapy concepts will be explored in order for participants to use them in an initial session. The presenter will show a videotape of a couple’s sex therapy evaluation. Each participant will have an opportunity to practice a model of a couple’s/sex therapy evaluation. These categories include topics that change often and therefore the courses you take should contain up-to-date information.
